I dont keep up with it too much, but with the presumed loss of GK and the other losses over the past week, i.e. LC and the lineman to Auburn, where is this class looking like it will be ranked when it shakes out?

Board of Regents just voted to abolish LSU's football team because our recruiting classes have not been ranked high enough

I know it won't be anything to get excited about. Not in the top ten, maybe closer to 15 or so. Its baffling considering we only lost 3 games in 2 years

15-17 still decent, but nowhere near expectations.

with GK de-committing and the likely hood that we will not be getting any 5 start recruits before signing day I would say that we will be in the top 15, somewhere around 12 or 13.

Probably around 15 unless we close strong.

Sorry but with only 3 losses in 2 years, it should be a little higher.

And we certainly should not be losing the top 2 recruits in our home state to AL

it is what it is .........

What really matters is how these kids ran in terms of W-L's after their careers are over....recruiting classes should be ranked when the respective class graduates imo

Sorry...

I refuse to blame this all on the coaching staff.

I understand that we should all be very optimistic about where we stand with the way we performed this season, and I have been for at least the last three seasons. I do worry about the program losing some momentum going into the spring though due to the [b]way we lost the last game. It's a real shame that we may not be able to capitalize on such a great year with recruits, considering the guys that have shown such high interest. Losing the highest ranked player in the state since Joe McKnight obviously can happen, especially when that kid is from N.O. But losing the top ranked qb on the day before he's scheduled to enroll is a real dagger, given our recent qb struggles. Now Howard doesn't want to visit, which I knew would probably happen if we didn't get Gunner. We've had difficulty closing out classes with a bang the last few seasons, and even though we are LSU, how many hits can the program take when our competitors are racking up? No doom and gloom here. Les has made it work before, but can we beat teams that are more talented than we are down the road? I don't think we'll win the BCS next season because it is extremely difficult to do even if you have a great team. This thing can go one of two ways and at the moment I am REALLY concerned.

Looking like around 10-15

We have 5 spots, but frankly the guys on that board are not going to boost us much.

Howard is coming here based on the last update I read

Edwards is a pipe dream

Kwon maybe

phillips probably

Hill probably

who gets the other 3 spots? Crazy! I dont' see any names being mentioned to be excited.

just my opinion...why sugar coat reality
