Don't forget to throw in a spreadsheet of carefully selected statistics.

This guy can assess Lee's leadership, intangibles and game management in what, 2 or 3 practices for a shitty college all star game? Really Nutt? Really?

I expect Lee to perform very well in this game.

Geaux Lee.

Are you going to prepare a spreadsheet for the game?

Wouldn't be surprised if Lee does well. Very little practice time or preparation for this game, but again, I want to see his "quick" release, which was the entire point of this original post!

The point here is not Nutt's credibility but the fact that he agrees with many other much more credible sources whom all stated that Lee may not have crumbled under the heavy pressure of Bama as everyone assumes.

He did pretty good against Florida on that TD winning pass last year when we needed a passing QB.

Never liked Nutt too much but he seems to know more about the qualities of a quarterback than Les Miles...Good game tonight, JL.

Not sure the hate on Nutt... sure he did not succeed at Ole Miss (who really has) but he is a coach that boast a couple of SEC West Division titles whether it be Co or outright... he had a winning record on Arkansas and he did have two successful seasons at Ole Miss before bottom fell out.

Kudos to J. Lee and his great showing in the Casa del sol bowl last night. Sure the competition wasn't all SEC but he looked a lot sharper and together than JJ at any time in his passing career and showed some feet movement too.

Nutt may have killed some QB's but he killed some tigers while at AR & Ole Miss too.

Nutt had LSU's number for some time and was Nick Saban's recommendation for his replacement.

The point of his comments that struck me was his comment that Lee has a "QUICK RELEASE". Not news but proof that he could have dealt with the Bama bull rush.

Two ways to deal with a strong pass rush from an agressive defense.

#1 Scramble with the ball like JJ did with 15 yards in 14 carries, or

#2 Play from the shotgun and release the ball quickly, instead of hold on to it until someone kills you.

Please stop.

Lee's success vs. Bama is there. That is "proof not news."

Really. S.T.O.P.
