I am against booing but that is not why recruits will be choosing LSU less, ask Shep why and several others on the team, who by the way are leaving, it ain't about Boos at all and you know that as well as I

I will say this. Jarrett Lee had the highest QB rating in the SEC while he was playing. What was it about Lee's play that Miles didn't like?

Miles tried to fix an offense that wasn't broken to begin with. I thought adding Jefferson as a change of pace QB was brilliant - but giving him full time starter duties was not.

JJ should have never been allowed back on the team. All he did was take away from Lee's preparation by taking both practice and game reps from him.

If JJ never was allowed back on the team we would have been better off in the long run.

Yes I have a different view of booing than many. That is the only way for a fans displeasure to be voiced during a game. Youre there with your hard earned money and have every right to boo or cheer as you see fit.

It does not make you any more or less of a fan. You don't have to support everything.

I know I'll get crucified for that but it's the truth. And before anyone comes in with the these are kids argument, no they are not. They are all over 18 and the same age as many many serving this country with their lives. Boos are not a bad thing at a game.

probably so... but most level headed coaches would have seen by the fist half, if not the first quarter, that a change needed to be made

I am looking forward to ZM. Hopefully he is as good as advertised
hoepfully Miles adapts his offense to ZM.. but who know, there may be someone on the team with good feet... we know how Miles feels about feet...

JJ and Jlee lover can't admit that both QB were average to below average at best

i don't love either of them. I too think that they are both average. I just think:

#1 that JJ's average is worse that JL's average and
#2 the offense looked a hell of a lot better the first 8 games than it did the last 6.

I also think that the JJ lovers will use the "well they were both average at best" and "well they are both gone now, so drop it" lines now that everyone sees that he absolutely sucked at the QB position...

I agree with you Jlee average was a little better but i think the problem came is was his average would have been bad against bama's d like the ist game. So i think they just thought JJ mobility would hurt bama more like the 1st game. It was the wrong call for game 2 but that coaching some decisions work others don't. Lee should have been given another shot. But its not our choice. I feel sorry for lee and all the players to lose perfection on the biggest stage and to have your worst preformance. I am sure they were all devestated. I am just glad they are gone b/c of ZM and all the thing we have heard. I hope they are true we haven't had a good QB since Flynn

Look Lee has no eligibility left, Jefferson has no eligibility left. What is the use of beating a dead horse at this point?

Correct. I should have said "one of the reasons", because, like you, I think it's just part of the problem. However, it is a significant.
For example, I had an uncle I gave my tickets to for the Kentucky game. While he is not a recruit of course, this is still telling.
He has never been much of a CFB fan or a sports fan in general but was in town and wanted to check out the experience since I have pumped it up to him my entire life. The VERY first thing he said to me was, "I was kind of embarrassed for the LSU fans. Why would you boo your own players? Shouldn't it be the other way around? It seems counterproductive."

And of course, there have been tweets in the past from HS players that pointed out this same disgraceful behavior.

While this appears to be beating a dead horse, it is more like a roulette wheel marble that we all want to just drop in the correct number. We can all then move on, good bad indifferent. To me this is what is going on

Not beating a dead horse

Maybe not in your eyes, but others see it differently. Like the players that actually wear the purple and gold on their back.
We obviously have a different view. But I hated it when Lee was booed against Tulane in '08 and I hated it this year with Jefferson.

hey Irish Eyes I give you your due, no problem with saying this is a downer, but when team members who have great skills are leaving, something more than boos are going on.

I keep trying to come up with a problem that needs to be fixed outside CLM himself and I can't. We keep beating a dead horse or flailing around trying to come with the problem so we can fix it.

I don't like how people concede that Lee should have been pulled at bama and we wouldn't have won if Jefferson hadnt come in. I don't think we know. On that same thought, if Les is so worried about a QB not getting it done in that instance, why did he leave Jefferson in at the NC? It's just Les' style of play. He does not like to put the ball in the air much and he never will. passing against bama scared the total poo out of him, and he would have rather lost by getting stuffed on the ground. And thats what happened. Thats the end of story.

I find it funny that JJ fanbois always claim anyone who supports Lee thinks Lee is a great qb!

I know I and many who I know that have the same position never have stated or believe JL is a great qb.

I think he was an adequate qb who ran the offense much better than JJ ever did and while I dont think he was great he was definitely better than JJ. How many pitiful JJ passing performances do you guys have to see to realize that!

JL aint great but he is better than JJ

Why is anyone calling JJ a quarterback?!

Shouldn't we more accurately state that JJ was a Les Miles' alleged Quarterback?
