Try living in North Alabama in the 90s when Tennessee was clocking the Tide. I heard Rocky Top so many times a day I thought my head would explode.
I actually loved Fran because he took the Vols down in Neyland.
LSU does not have it so bad! Think if you had Mike Dubose, Mike Price and Mike Shula to fix your foosball woes. Your bumbling coach Les is 10x all of those if he still spits the bit every 10-12 games.

Yep. I quit listening to the radio completely last week. Whenever a Gump tries to start something I just tell them they were the better team that night and walk off. Pisses them off to no end.

My uncle who is a LSU grad has lived in both Mobile and Gainsville and he said that living around Bama fans is by far the worst place he has ever lived in his life...flat out miserable!

I'd give anything to be back in my home state of LA or ANYWHERE else for that matter. At least in Louisiana everyone else is still mourning. Here, in Mobile, AL, It's like the game just ended every day I wake up. Radio stations just laughing it up about our performance. Co-workers giving me their typical BAMA arrogance and ragging me to Hell and back. I have the greatest respect for the BAMA football, but their fan base has to be the worst. I can barely stand this. Any other Tigers out there stuck in my same situation? Normally I always defend my Tigers from the usually delusional Bammers, but I have NO grounds to stand on this time. None. Knowing BAMA fan's behavioral tendencies, I'll be stuck in this nightmare for longer than I'd ever wish on anyone. I love all of Tiger Nation. I hate this feeling we all have. Especially for my Tigers in Alabama.

I'm sorry for the worst part of our fan base but its part of being in THE game. You probably didn't notice the reverse effect of losing 9-6 at home. Its a bragging rights kind of thing. To the victor goes the spoils.

Better to be where you are and catching shi* from us than a UTk and not even a thought.

Well bama1959, it's nice to see someone actually is logical here in H'ville. However I have to say I'm met some of the most childish, immature, and unsportsmanlike people on this Earth living here in H'ville. It's a shame people do that. I'm not one to rub it in anyone's face, but yet people continually do it to me. I typically walk away, as I know I'm the better man.

This breed of person present here in Alabama, shameful as it may be, can also have kids. Kids who think it's okay to behave in such a manner..and that is carried over to the field of play by those children. See bama1959, I'm an AHSAA official, and I see this unsportsmanlike behavior...and it's now apparent where it comes from. And that's the shame of it all.

And its hilarious that you think that this type of stuff only goes on in Alabama.

Fortunately you don't live in some other part of the state because Huntsville has to be the tamest part of Alabama as far as crazy Bama fandom goes. Birmingham (maybe the worst) , Tuscaloosa (of course but few outsiders to bust chops on), and then 100's of small towns not dominated by Auburn. Those Auburn towns like Montgomery are probably in morning with you.

LSU folks have a lot to be proud of this year. Only one team can be #1 out of 120 and you beat all the rest. Best thing about all of this for LSU is they are right back at the top next year.

After going to at least 10 Bama games in Baton Rouge over the years I'd be surprised if you wouldn't see exactly the same being a LHSAA official instead. Its called southern football and even with our crazies I'm not sure I'd change a thing. All part of the fun.

Thank goodness and I live in Texas and the only Bama fan I deal with works for me and she's smart enough to keep her mouth shut. Good friend of mine and LSU fan just moved here from Mobile and he's really thankful that he did.

what does this mean? Why would it be dumb to brag a little? That is just apart of being a sports fan.

I'm 21 years old and have lived in Tuscaloosa my entire life as an LSU fan because my entire family plus my 10 years older brother were born in Lafayette and Abbeville. I've heard more trash talk today than you will in your lifetime. Just deal with it. ANYONE can talk shite. But I represent LSU everyday with an LSU sticker on my car and my LSU hat on. We lost the national championshIp. An Alabama fan in Baton Rouge got the same shite I've been getting after the first game. Just quit bitching and we will beat the helllll out of them in 2012.

just tell them you hate football and don't follow it.

to late for that? Go get reconstructive surgery and become a double agent for the tigers. Pose as a bama fan, but start a masive mis-information campain. I could come up with a hundred different ways to blast a university or football player. Who cares if its a lie

Unless you're in prison, then just pick up and move if you hate it that bad. Yeah, I know that's easier said than done, but you're only two and a half hours from the Louisiana state line.

BTW, what do you do in Mob-Town?
