Then why does Lee say he doesn't know why he wasn't played, as opposed to agreeing with Miles?

It makes no sense. I think we'll find out when Lee returns home and starts talking, and graduates agree. Les needs to be truthful now, or I'm scared it's going to blow up later.

I cannot count how many times Miles' character had been documented by numerous people (all positive) I am sure you understand the JL situation better than us. Oh and by the way I will take a good coach over a good man anyday.

You have an unhealthy attachment to one player. No one player is bigger than the program. But many fans will now shite on the program anyway. It is baffling.

Whoa. Cam Newton pretty much single handedly won Auburn the BCSNC last year

LSU isn't the top program in the SEC, and is FAR from being at this point. That illusion is gone. Last night proved the guys on the other sideline are vastly superior to the guys on ours. One game? Yep, but it was a huge debacle.

I refuse to believe the gap is that big. We beat the same team on the road in their house. This is all reactionary.

Did the team and coaches shite the bed last night? Of course. But the sky is certainly not falling on this program.

I never had respect for Miles(see how he left Okie St) and I've tried to like/respect him here. Can't do it. Not gonna happen.

His JJ love affair is finally over though, so maybe something good will come of it.

What died for me is my intense fandom. Over the last few years Miles has slowly sucked the fun out of it. Yes, this year was great, but then that ended in a big letdown. I've learned now to not be so emotionally invested in that it affects my life.

Next year I'm gonna go back to being just a regular fan, not one who structures his life around LSU football.

Lee has a best selling book in his future. Just needs to put pen to paper.

I agree, but with a small lingering doubt because we really don't know the whole story or truth.

There is no mystery here. Miles has not trusted JL since 2008 season.

The only reason we saw JL play this year is because JJ got arrested and charged with a felony. If JJ never goes to the bar we only see JJ this season and that would have been a sad thing indeed.

JL lead LSU to eight wins this year and was finally allowed to play his game. JLs game was a balanced blend of passing (short and long) and run. The RB flurished under JL leadership. Ford even made the cover of Sports Illistrated. I for one missed the balanced leadership JL provided the last six games.

I feel you bro.
For me it was more about jj sucking the fun out of t than miles.
Sept and oct was indeed refreshing.

What about Paytons handling of Chase Daniel. Do you feel as strongly. He is another second string QB not playing.

Was Miles' coaching, which resulted in a SHUTOUT - a first for the BCSNCG.

The LSU program today is in great shape. I think Miles is a great coach. But his refusal to yank JJ last night is borderline psychotic. There is some type of unnatural and unexplainable attachment he had to JJ that the entire sports world witnessed.

The problem is Les won't admit it, and won't admit it was a mistake. That's what is worrying the fan base. It's becoming painfully clear that Les plays favorites, even to the detriment of the team. How will that affect recruiting going forward?

No, the issue with the way he handles the QB situation has been going on for four years now. Much more than one game.

Let me see if I understand this.
Miles thinks one player is better than another, and gives a better chance to win. YOU evaluate the players in the reverse order.

Therefore he is a man of low CHARACTER??
For playing his starter - and not playing his backup?

C'mon ,man. As a fan base we have to be better than this crap. Do I think JL should have played? Yes. I also think it would have made no difference. The game was lost at the LOS.

But to say the man has no charracter? Really?
I don't know jack about what reasons he had for playing one over the other. I can disagree with his choice, but I can't see how that means we assassinate his character.

shite, there's like 60 something other kids that didn't play.

He's like a freakin' axe murderer I guess!

Given time to make adjusments, they did and blew LSU out of the water. LSU coaching staff totally screwed up the whole thing.

No, LSU will still win a lot of games, go to a lot of bowls. Winning the NC is possible only should the Bama program fall. With the recruiting classes they are putting together, a coach of Miles caliber will have a hard time derailing Saban and Miles. Saban proved given time he can make the adjustments. Miles proved quite the opposite.
