...and two things jump out at me.

1) The Lions kept the game pretty close, but in the fourth quarter, the Saints just looked at the gas pedal and smashed the damn thing. It was 24-21 going into the 4th. The scoring frenzy that ensued what a thing of beauty.

2) Nicks and Colston....pay them.

This team is relentless. Like a locomotive, it takes little while to build up a full head of steam, but once it gets rollin, either step aside or get crushed

I wonder what Graham's contact will look like in the next go around.

Who knows but I bet he single handedly wins us the game against San Fran and if so, pay him whatever he wants

Graham will be the benefactor of the second Louisiana purchase.

I know it's any given sunday and all that, but I don't see but a very few, very unlikely scenarios where San Fran has a chance against us.

We dont have to have a 100 yard rushing day against them, i dont expect that. But if we can make them respect the run they dont stand a chance.

1) If we score 30+ we win
2) If we dont turn the ball over we win

My friend just brought up a very good point. They have only played five teams with a semi decent recrod. Bengals, Lions, Giants, Ravens and Steelers They are 3-2 against those teams.

It may go without saying, but I think we excel above most every team at making the proper halftime adjustments

The Niners were 4-1 against the Bengals, Lions, Giants, Ravens, and Steelers with the only loss to the Ravens.

It should be a great game and the Saints should be favored, but the Niners are more than capable of winning the game.

the Lions are becoming a legit contender IMO. What they need for the next step to me is-

- a running game. Remember Mikel LeShoure from last spring? He got injured for the year early. They're kinda like the Saints RBs last year

-backend of the defense. kinda the opposite of the Saints in having a good front but need some higher impact players at corner particularly.

-a younger kicker

I like seeing them in playoff mix to give the packers some good competition in their division. The "haven't been good in so long" story is nice. I always liked their uni colors.

My apologies. I was merely pointing out that we had the same math teacher. I passed too
