shite we were conservative on O. Lee came out throwing but that late hit really rattled him and the picks just killed any motivation we had to try to throw. Game was much less decisive than I remember because of our lack of aggression.

With Lonergan healthy and JJ now fully prepped as the starter, we have to utilize our weapons in the passing game, which is the biggest advantage for either team IMO outside of special teams.

I'm confident Krag and Miles will be much more aggressive in a less hostile environment this time around. We'll need them to be.

I thought the second half was a more clear advantage to LSU.

to me this is pretty huge, and seems to be absent from most discussions.

I watched it again yesterday also.

Bama had a ton of players get hurt. They were dropping all throughout the game.

i thought both teams actually moved the ball well. After halftime, i felt like both teams got very conservative, not wanting to do anything to lose the game.

In the fourth quarter, you could tell that LSU was wearing Alabama down.

Remember how wiped out the Bama players were... grabbing on to the their shirts and looking all out of breath and shite? Their lack of conditioning is a big deal that most media never even noticed.

Lonergan played in the 2nd quarter I watched it last night, why does everyone act like he didn't play till 5 mins left in the 4th?

I rewatched it a few days ago. I noticed that Hightower is a little lazy on most plays. He runs to the ball, then eases up to let another Bama player finish it up.

I want to see us throw screens and run the option alot. He will be a pile of lactic acid by the middle of the third.

When I think who has the advantage in this game It always ends up in an advantage for lsu, mainly on offense. We have so many options on offense, so many looks and versatility.

It's a big advantage for lsu with 5 weeks to prepare and implement a game plan.

1. Les is the best bowl coach there is.
2. JJ is typically very good with extra time to prep.
3. JJ has the lion's share of practice reps.
4. Our LBs needed more time than theirs to get better. Every game LSU played since 11/5 is more benefical to the less experienced LB corps.
5. We played an extra game in which everyone came out healthy, Alabama had to sit it out.
6. B-d stadium is far more hostile than the Superdome will be.
7. We have TM7.
8. We have TM7 returning punts now.

I'm not saying LSU will definitely win, but our chances for victory are much greater than 11/5.

I'm honestly worried that saban coaches cheap late hits in an attempt to knock players out. It's happened far to often under his regime

Lonrgan played sporadically but didn't fully take over till the fourth.

I love T-Bob but he really was ovetmatched. He was pushed into the backfield on almost every snap he took.

Lonergan honestly wasn't.

Go on... did he do that when he was at LSU as well?

Oh the insecurity with some of your people.

There was no one to throw to. I was there 11/5 and are receivers just weren't getting open.
