in the parallel universe of Vegas oddsmaking, Alabama actually won its game against the Tigers.
I'd like to have seen him explaining that to Boudreaux when he came to collect his winnings

His explanation makes no sense to me at all.

.
I'm sorry Boudreaux but even though LSU had more points than Alabama they still lost, it's called the eye test!

What's funny is that if Ford did not step out of bounds. He would have scored a touchdown. Plus LSU dominated the last 5 minutes of regulation on both sides of the ball into overtime.
Good I hope the team sees this shite amongst all the bamatard, " We beat ourselves!".

Bama may have the better offense, but LSU's defense had a second gear that Bama's seemed to lack especially as the game wore on.
Illusion only. I didn't see that at all. I actually saw Richardson wearing down your defense late in the game.
quote:
This guy's entire analysis is based on a falsehood: more yards = better performace. Look at the Sugar Bowl: Michigan won by capitalizing on VT's mistakes and by NOT allowing VT to score touchdowns in the red zone in the 1st half. Defense and special teams are part of the game, too.
I guarantee you Vegas factors in ST's. But don't get your panties in a wad. It is a 1-2pt max line so the betters think its close period.
Keys to the game:
1) Who makes the most mistakes? After a 40day layoff you can count on lots of mistakes by both teams. But who makes the most? I might give LSU an edge because they are more opportunistic this year than Bama. See TO margin.
2) Can LSU pressure AJ enough to shut down consistent passing. Biggest chance for LSU to make a difference. Its the key to shutting us down. TR will get his yards but not enough if we can't pass.
3) Can JJ/JL throw it successfully (at least 150yds) Doubtful but possible. We have shown some weakness to the deep throw. If JJ can pass it a few times (12-15 or so completions), that might be enough to open up the run.
Assumptions:
1)LSU doesn't let TR get lose on a screen or dump off pass.
2)No big gain for either team on KO or Punt returns. Yes, Maze can do it too now that he's healthy.
My guess is LSU gets a slight edge on Bama mistakes but AJ has some success throwing it. JJ will not. Bama wins a close one. 14-7.

Interesting picture of the one-legged Bama player holding his junk...
First thing I saw when I opened the link. Either:
1. He is hung like a horse and has to hold it in place
2. He has to pee
3. He is getting a master's degree in fishing and is a Masturbator

Anyways, it's typical BS by an odds maker. The game was won by the yards they outgained the other team by. If that isn't the biggest crock of shite there is then I don't know what is!

I may be mistaken, not going to google to confirm, but didn't Alabama only net 4 yards on plays within the LSU 40?

When he was getting popped in the backfield for big losses? Richardson got served on his second or third carry when Reid blew him up and he coughed the ball up, he was lucky it rolled out of bounds. You could see he was scared after that, this ain't Ole Miss.

yep, 4 yards, and they talk shite. Our defense is not an aggressive scheme like Saban used to have us in when he was coach, Chavis employs an read react scheme that causes you to give up yardage, but tightens up when you get close to the redzone, that's the difference. Believe me if we employed that scheme Saban used to have us in LSU would be No. 1 defensively because of better athletes or playmakers!

We would easily be #1 defensively if we had played North Texas and Kent State instead of Oregon and West Virginia, Bama's stats mean nothing, that's why they got beat at home.

If it makes a difference to you... they also picked them to win on 11/5!

Yep, they sure did. Why would they do it again unless they thought the first game was a fluke? Or maybe something has changed, like the LSU passing game going to shite. I think both works.

This article suggests to me that a lot of people have started to lay money on LSU and Vegas is trying to have money bet on Alabama.
Wouldn't Vegas be giving points to Bama bets if they were trying to have money bet on Bama???

Lets send him a note asking him for the odds of any NC team in the last 60 years to have out gained all the teams they played in that season.
