Yes, it does sting losing Collins, but with that being said, name one top notch player that we have lost that really hurt not having on our team in the last 8 to 10 years. Someone else will commit to us or someone else will step up and be a superstar. We are stacked, Collins or not!

Yes, we know.

I'm pretty sure 98% posters here know that. The anger towards Collins is more about him string LSU along.

Agreed!! All I want to see right now is LSU bring home that crystal ball. The rest will follow like it always has.

I am not an expert, but he didn't string LSU along.

He knew he wanted to go to Bama, but gave the In-State team every chance to sway him.

Talents like this deserve to make a spectacle over their recruitment.

Gunner Kiel also deserved it too, but he chose not to go that route. It's up to the athlete.

Ya Think? Is it giving a team a chance to sway you or is it just plain Narcissistic? The gloves, the whole spectacle.

Maybe that explains Kiel's route to commit and perhaps a major difference in character.

Yeah, like when he didn't even leave the Lawton room to go into the stands for the LSU game during his official visit so he could sit with his pro bama gf?

Yeah, he was giving LSU every chance and not milking for all it's been worth. Now he's seeing the flip side of it.

I think Janzen Jackson hurt us because he led us on and then committed elsewhere after signing day giving us no time to replace him with a quality player. That kid was a complete prick and he got exactly what he deserved (karma is a bitch).

Aside from that, you are absolutely right. LC said he liked LSU and that it was a tough decision. He gave us plenty of time to look elsewhere and paid us a compliment. I don't understand the hate. Let him go to school where he feels most comfortable.

I feel bad for his mom and I actually feel bad for him too. This can't be easy. I hear his brother likes LSU and maybe he will be a Tiger one day and heal the family.

I don't know why this is so difficult for people to understand?
