I will no longer follow recruiting with as much passion anymore. I am a grown man and should have more of a life. This is the first time in a long time I have felt depressed about losing a recruit. Just makes me sick. I also felt like Louisiana was disrespected on National TV. I wanted LSU to get LC more than any other recruit. Enjoy watching him play. Alabama's recruits looked dominant in this game...they are loaded.

Just one guy, we'll take one from Bama soon enough.

Haha. Shake it off. It happens. Les will give us a nice surprise to enjoy at the bash. He always does.

Look at the recruiting rankings for the last 5 years. Star gazing is just for fun. Coaching and talent evaluation are just as important.

We lost a good one today, but we will move on.

The Kid just wants to play next year and that wasn't gonna happen at LSU. What good would it do to get him and have him transfer. He just wasn't a good fit due to bad timing. No big deal.

You are holding on too tight. You lost the edge. You have a son. You've never even seen him and you nearly orphaned him today.

Turn in your wings.

And get some perspective.

Utah Tiger, I could not agree anymore. I felt physically sick when he announced. I'm a grown man with a great career and three kids, and I am done getting worked up over this! DONE!!! It's a disgrace to our state to not only leave but to go there of all places. I am finito!!!!

I'm convinced the national recruiting ranking media (i.e. rivals, scout, ESPN, etc.) consistently underestimates the talent that LSU brings in

Continue to keep up with it, but don't spend any money or an inordinate amount of time trying to figure out the psychology of 17-19 year old recruits.

I tell you what sucked most. Watching a god awful game for 3.5 quarters just to see Collins commit to Bama.

We hate to see the guy go, but hey.. he is one player. Also, its not all about the kids number of stars coming out of high school, its about how he will respond to having to compete for a spot(some of them have really never been challenged), how they handle being on thier own, and many other things that are not rated by 4 or 5 stars. CLM has shown a great track record for recruiting and landing the type of players that are capable of carrying us to 13-0! Chill out!
