Benchwarmer - true re punts, but in regulation Bama attempted I believe 6 field goals (4 were long - 3 missed & 1 blocked) and made 2 of the 6. We only attempted 2 regulation field goals, making both, & elected to punt & pin them deep several times instead of trying 50 yard plus field goals. That explains the "punt v. punt" discrepancy, I think !

I am starting to think it was part of their strategy, kick a bunch of fields goals, if you miss it looks like you didn't execute, not weren't good enough to get into field goal range.
