Of course Floyd is not going to have the power as Roy because of the weight difference. Also, Roy's flaws and bad technique were exploited in the first Hopkins fight. Then Roy preceded to run from Hopkins till the end of his career.
Once his reflexes went, his bad technique was really exploited and he keeps getting knocked out.
I don't understand why he keep fighting. But Floyd is the correct answer to this question.

Sad part is happens to most of them. Hated seeing Roy getting his arse whipped towards the end. Wouldn't suprise me if it happens to Floyd somewhere down the road too.

So I am guessing you didn't actually see the fight? That fight wasn't even close Hopkins had a few moments towards the end but was never a threat on the scorecards or to for KO. Still to this day almost 20 years later no one has beaten Hopkins the way Roy did

It's irrelevant what happened to Roy at the end because the question posed was "In their prime".
