That seems like a pretty ignorant statement. The type of people who buy proper holsters aren't the type of people we usually deal with. I would much rather have a weapon in plain view and be aware of it than a thug with one tucked in his waistband and not know about it.

I don't know how you can make that statement.
I have atleast 1 gun within reach of me at all times in my car. For personal protection. I have been pulled over before and the first thing i do is either hand the officer my concealed carry card or notfiy him where the weapon is. In la we can have a weapon any where in our car. What is the difference of having one holstered next to my seat or under the steering wheel. Yes, someone could use a rig like that to hurt an officer, but that is no different than if it is under his shirt. Sorry officer, that is just an ignorant statement. Drive around new orleans some and tell us not to have a gun within hands distance.

Try getting car jacked in South Texas. The ONLY reason I wasn't grabbed and likely beaten to death was my ability to quickly put a Glock in that frickers face.
