What do you possibly think that the email from Joe to all season ticket holders detailing all of the expenses and additional financial demands on LSU Football could mean? Could he possibly be preparing us for something?

My super season ticket holder senses were tingling.

Joe Alleva is the worst. I hate that he's in the Old War Skule, he totally ruined it. I can't believe he didn't ask for money during the program honestly

Im still pissed that they didnt put a small amount of tix into a lottery, I think thats really a shite move on their part. I had no expectations of getting tix to the game but each and every season ticket holder should have a chance, albeit an extreme longshot, of winning a lottery. Put 250 tix or so into a lottery and give everyone a chance frick job.

That bastard.

Always trying to fund raise on behalf of LSU athletics. Who does he think he is to set prices based on the demand the marketplace places on his product?

Tickets and access should be given away to blue-collar types based on how long their families have followed LSU football. That's what I'd do damnit.

There is only one reason. as a forewarning that the coaches will be getting raises and TAF fees will be going up again. If you are sponging off oil companies/corporate success, you probably don't care, but they are really hurting folks who pay for their own TAF and tickets.

Not a season ticket holder. Can someone give me a synopsis of this email. I get there are going to be more fees but would like to hear how he says it and the reasoning.

TIA

Did he add in how much money the department LOST by choosing to play 1 less home game in favor of one in Arlington or how much the department will lose in revenue in concessions by choosing to pay a teams like N Texas, Idaho and freaking Towson in front of empty stadiums?

Oh but wait I bet they will offer a package deal to non holders for face value to attend all those games plus Ole Miss next year.

This really chaps my buns! He is praising the backbone of fans who truly do support LSU, the "little guy" who works, saves his money, goes out on Saturday no matter the weather or whom we are playing, and gets frozen out of the championship game ticket distribution due to lack of "points". We should all show him where they would be without us. LSU should be ashamed to not have done more to allow us little folks to get a shot at tickets. Who has money to buy from a broker?? Shame!

I don't like Joe Alleva. But to be fair, he is tasked with dealing with the ENORMOUS debt of the LSU Athletic Dept while simultaneously maintaining/upgrading facilities.
