I don't know. Never completely trust Bill Gates.
Did you add the percent numbers manually and divide by 9 to see what you get? I'm predicting you won't get what the AVGDEV function results are.

yeah even when I changed the individual values to absolutes, it flipped the number to something else. Oh well. live and learn.

Oh and I was cautious about using google docs because it may show my actual name. I think I am safe as long as I'm not logged in but if someone can see my name, let me know please.

For questioning my Excel abilities you are hereby disqualified from winning the Grand Prize.

I don't know if I've ever used that function before, so I'm hopeful no serious mistakes were made at work...

fixed. try now.
Did you purposefully omit the oil predictions for Plano and Easter Bunny?

I noticed years ago that the financial function for computing duration is a little off, too. Since then I always hand compute at least one range of cells to double check Bill Gates' math.

C, if you omit by 100% deviation (for putting "lol" next to Nasdaq), what would my total deviation be?
Posted on 12/19/12 at 11:10 am to LSUtoOmaha
10.28% average deviation if your non-prediction is ignored.
Posted on 12/19/12 at 11:29 am to LSURussian
got rid of the "100%" for the people who didn't make a prediction.

Second highest deviation is goodgrin on the price of silver. He predicted $65.00 and the actual this minute is $31.86 for a deviation of -104.02%.
Yeah, it's been a little disappointing, but I have faith that silver will exceed the measly $65 when the over decade long bull market executes its spectacular blow off bubble. When? I'd give it 2-5 years.
It's possible the spot price of silver will go even lower as the end of the year approaches. Wont' bother me since I'll be cost averaging more physical bullion into my possession.
