re: JJ the best dual-threat QB all-time at LSU?

I think he's the worst QB we've ever had, period. So mathematically he can't be the best dual threat QB. He's got one game left and hopefully I'll never have to look at him again.

the QB that leads the SEC in passing efficieny and is an excellant runner and is the senior starter for the BCSNC game is the worst QB in LSU history. Our so-called fans are some of the dumbest fans in all of football. Why the hate?

yea, cause Lee should be starting against Alabama, right? Lee is a good QB, is basically tied with Jefferson leading the SEC in passing efficiency, not near as good a runner. We are blessed to have two quality senior QB's on this team. Why the hate towards one of them, especially right before one of the biggest games in LSU history?

You have to complete a pass on more than a semi-annual basis to be "dual" threat. No matter what happens Jan 9th, the cannot complete a pass saga will hopefully come to an end.

he has a 60.25% completion percentage for 13.65 ypc. Are you blind or just stupid?

I'm a little late to this party, but if you're going by talent then it was probably Perilloux, he just never had the chance to prove it.

I was reading one of the Tide forum boards about what player they most feared in this game and they nearly all said Jefferson.
How could they NOT say TM7?

it's on 'tidefans.com', now on the second page. A thread titled 'What LSU offensive player concerns you most?'. The most popular answer by far is Jefferson, with Randle and Wing getting some mention as well. But most say Jefferson. His ability to pick up first downs even when they seem to have him contained is frustrating for their defense His running and passing, in other words, his 'dual threat' ability. That he is the offensive player for LSU that scares the #2 defense in the country the most says a lot. They would love nothing more than to see Lee in there at QB and would like to hurt Jefferson early in the game.

You young guys forget or never had a chance to remember:
Pat Screen and Lynn Amadie... These guys were SUPER athletes at the QB position, but Miley was probably the greatest dual threat QB in LSU history. Too bad he left early for baseball.

Without being a total pos about it, I'd say Tyler was a little better, just in front of JJ in career stats, if any of that matters at all.
Better to just say one of the best.
Jefferson is what we have for dual threat on 1-9-12 and has helped form one of the best, if not the best LSU teams in history.
All else is just noise cluttering a perfect performance that evidently can't be appreciated by some who haven't gone through enough pain.
Stupid thread is stupid.

I don't HATE JJ. In fact, I forgave him for the bar fight earlier than most. He just is a poor SEC QB and we deserve better.
