on field performance and uncommon swag for a punter.

Th aussie part and unusual path to LSU just adds to it.

Chad Kessler

Chad Kessler was a good punter but he also threw up some good numbers due to having Jeremy Witten pooch punting on all the short kicks.

Xtenze
It's the whole package he brings to the table, not just one particular play.

hes basically just falling in line with the rest of the team with being the best at your position and letting your opponent know about it. im sorry but when our punters are celebrating on the way to running td's against florida of all teams, you know this is a special crew.

Taunting put him there, punting ability kept him there. Otherwise, he would have been but a footnote. No pun intended.

Wing is probably the first LSU punter that has enough swag to get as much college girl arse as any QB in the nation. Respek.

Kessler was the first (and only?) college punter to average 50 yards a punt for an entire season (yes, Witten handling the pooch punting helped there). 50 yards is pretty darn strong.

Wing was a fan favorite before the taunting. I remember reading on here after the West Virginia game that LSU fans didn't go for restroom breaks when punting, we actually wanted to watch our punter.

I guess my answer would have to be: Aussie, freshman, the rumors of him punting with both legs, and the different styles of punts he displays (long boomers, low with a roll, end over end pooch punts that check up like a pitching wedge).
