Where is the best place to stay for Texas A&M game in college station. I want to stay in college station and am not looking to spend the over $300 a night for the Hilton Hotel and Conference center. Any suggestions on where to stay?

Check out the hotels on University. Might be some cheaper ones on South Texas that you may be able to walk to the stadium, but not sure.

Based on the rumors of work on the stadium @ College Station this could be in Houston. Just a thought.

For once since I moved from La. I am sleeping in my own bed in NW Houston and driving the 67 miles to the game.

All of the hotels in College Station will fill up fast, if they aren't already booked up.

I imagine that lots of LSU fans will have to stay in Houston and drive over on the day of the game.

This is one of the issues that was brought up in the beginning when A&M first sought entrance into the SEC.

Hotels IN College Station are overpriced. Try Navasota; you'll save a ton.
