No Bama fans like to use that 45-25 a lot.they don't wanna hear that since 01 LSU has as many SEC titles as Bama has since 1981. Fact

I don't mean to speak for him, but it was that whole relevant word. Historically, yes Bama's the better team. Historically Miami of Ohio is a top 20 team. Are they relevant? No. Relevant can mean a lot of different things, and here we are using recent history to give new meaning to our rivalry. It's relevant.

LSU has absolutely embraced reality! It is the only 13-0 team in the whole Bowl Division, it was ranked #1 for 12 weeks by the AP and #1 for 7 weeks in the BCS (4 weeks unanimously), it beat 3 teams ranked in the final Top 10 (2 on the road) and 6 teams ranked in the final Top 25 (4 on the road), it is the SEC W Division Champion and the SEC Conference Champion, it had the only player (Michael Ford), in the LSU/Bama game to actually cross the goal line, even though it was called back due to his stepping on the line at the 7 yard line AND it BEAT Bama, on their home field, in what actually counts...The Score of 9 - 6!; thus making LSU the only truly unanimous, legitimate team in the BCSNCG, who got there by EARNING the right to be there without any politics, begging, pleading and scrounging up votes.

The premise of the BCSNCG is that the 2 best teams play and according to most analysts and the Bama fan base that already happened... and Bama LOST! Some other team actually now should have the right to have their go at LSU as the 2nd best team, BUT we know that got manipulated. So be it...LSU and Bama will meet again and there is no way that the team with all these previously listed credentials and accomplishments is going to not win a third time in a row against Bama, the team that has none of these! All the defensive, bravado talk by Bama is just fearful whistling in the dark...LSU has nothing to fear! They are the top SEC team now...deal with it!

I have watched the 2011 LSU/Alabama game 4 times since November 5th. If you ignore the score and watch what actually happened on the field, it appears to me that these two teams are close to even. Either could beat each other on any given day. A turnover here, big play there will be the difference.

Make no mistake about it, this will be an epic battle. For all the marbles.

If LSU wins, and I hope/pray they do, it will be one of the finest hours in the history of our storied football program. Let's get it on...!

How do u think they got the name gumps, they earned it. Many of my friends are gumps & they still think they won the last game.

Do u notice very time the gumps get beat they turn to the past.But they have forgotten some of the past when they lost to ULM in t-town & don't ask them what a Ute is , they will have a stroke.

I just have to chuckle at the Gump denial and arrogance...it's all good though, especially since Deliverance meets Justice, AGAIN on Jan 9th. Gump nation has not a clue of what LSU IN NOLA is gonna sound (LOUD), feel (UNCOMFORTABLE) and even taste (BITTER) like they will experience on D-Day. This LSU team wants nothing more than to bury the hatchet once and for all, especially in a decisive fashion. As I have said for weeks: No excuses/No doubt = LSU 2012 BCS Champions

We are bama we fear no team, either home or away. We are going turn the superdome into the bamadome and the South La. waters will turn crimson... JMO
