At least that is what i hear over at Texags.

Would be huge for ATM and the SEC in general.

Coaching searches > recruiting.

Seriously doubt it. From what I've read, his son requires some pretty specialized medical care.

While I respect TxA&M as a program, I doubt very seriously there's anyone in College Station that can take care of their needs.

I had heard that early on too. Although I don't know anything about his son's condition, B-CS isn't that much smaller than Boise. Maybe it's possible.

I am a huge hater of College Station, but I would *think* that they would have something comparable. They are too close to Houston, who has top notch health care.

Houston Tx is but 90 minutes away from ATM.

Houston has, arguably, the largest medical center in the world.

Everything his son needs is in Houston.

Exactly. It would be a huge upgrade in terms of medical care. (w/o knowing what his son receives now)

For the most part, his son has recovered. Even so, just down the road in Houston is the #1 cancer hospital in the entire world:

Still, if Petersen turned down $4million/year to go to UCLA, I don't see him going to College Station.

I can't believe this guy hasn't already been pulled away from Boise.

For $3 million bucks a year this guy won't leave Boise for a school in an AQ conference?

Is he ready to put his family through it?

This is untrue. His son, Sam, had a brain tumor that was removed years ago. He's been healthy for a long time.

Maybe he enjoys his lifestyle and doesn't see the need for change. Not everyone is motivated by money. I would much rather live in Boise than College Station or LA.

+1. He has little pressure and makes good money. Why move?

Chris Petersen isn't a Scientologist. There's an actor, with the same name, with the last name spelled exactly the same, that is about the same age as the Boise coach. He's also from California. I believe he's the Scientologist. Of course, this won't keep the morons from claiming that Boise's coach is one too.
