Jarrett Lee's status for the championship game

A few days ago I heard rumors that he was going to be academically ineligible for the postseason. I've been avoiding the Rant as best I can because of all the insanity, but I was curious if anyone knew anything else. It would almost explain why he hasn't been seeing any action the last few games despite them being blowouts. No need to give him reps and real time practice if he's not going to be playing.
I hope this isn't true, it'd be a really sad way for him to end his career here. I'd also love to have him available for the game. Any news on this?

Don't have to be a dick about it bro. I was just asking a question. Maybe he had been skipping classes which violated a team rule. I don't know, but I'd like to find out.

Lee said in a news paper interview that he was "trying to get right academically" and that he would be "just fine".
I take that to mean he expects to be in good standing with LSU for the bowl game.

Thanks. It's good news. Without him who knows if we'd be in this position today. Really hope he's able to contribute for the championship.
