Anyone hear the female reporter after the game tell this USM coach that???

What? Was he supposed to throw the game so Houston could be in???

The coach looked pissed at the comment.

Because she is a female and shouldn't be talking about sports.

Of course she needs to be fired. Larry Fedora and the Golden Eagles just beat a hugely favored adversary for for Conference Championship. It is not USM's responsibility to worry about the CUSA coffers. Wildly inappropriate question.

The coach was pissed, and he should be pissed. His answer was absolutely correct. But....

That was a GREAT question by the reporter.

No, that is an awful question to ask a coach who just won a conference championship. Theres a time and place for that, like the post presser.

I wouldnt fire her over something as trivial but she needs to know when to say what.

USM should have folded. The money is much more important than a meaningless win against a fraud. Not only did it screw the conference now, but also in the future.

Reporters, especially female reporters who are there for sideline "window dressing", 99% of the time get fed those stupid arse questions from producers/etc.

They would've had to fire me. No way I could've asked that question with a straight face.

On the contrary, I believe the reporter came up with that question on her own. She is probably trying to make a name for herself as "the reporter who asks the tough questions". There is a time and a place for that. On the sideline seconds after a coach's biggest win of his career is NOT the time nor the place, and the reporter came off looking like a count.

Are you saying female reporters can't come up with those questions on their own? Wow..
