Assuming Cincy holds on AND Oklahoma State wins (and makes the BCSCG to lose against LSU) then we will have beaten:

Oregon (2011 Pac-12 Champs)
West Virginia (2011 Big East Champs)
Oklahoma State (2011 Big 12 Champs)

That HAS to be unprecedented, huh?

If LSU would lose to Bama in the BCS title game-

LSU would have beaten-
Defending National Champ
Big East Champ
Pac-12 Champ
SEC East Champ
and the BCS National Champions

I believe it was the 1949 LSU Tigers that beat 3 conference champs. It might've even been 4. Checking...

No luck online.

I imagine it happens a lot. I mean, all you need to do is win a BCS bowl to get one, beat a rivalry team(Florida beating Florida St, Miami beating Florida, Notre Dame beating USC) and then beat the in-state lousy conference school.

At the very least it looks like LSU will play 4 games against BCS bowl teams, maybe 5 if we lose today:

1. WVU
2. Oregon
3. Bama
4. Bama/Ok State
5. Georgia if we lose

I don't think any team has played a schedule so top heavy. The amazing this is we have only had one close game.

Not at all

We will be the SEC champs who played a better schedule and the gumps will be 1-1 who backed in.

Split champs
