Change mine twice a year. I have found that buying the smaller spools (200 yds) vs the bulk spools, the line last longer. I store my rods in climate contorlled area, which has a greater life than if they are gettin moisture then hot/cold often. Always cut 8-10' off every time I go out & retie.

Once a year minimum. I use 20-30# braided on my rods so I do get some lifespan out of it.

that once a month crap is great if you are getting it free from your sponsor, and you have 100K on the line every weekend.

I put on new mono usually around February, when i start back fishing hard. That lasts until i get low. Ive left braid on (power-pro) for over a year before with regular use, and the color had faded a bit, but the strength and integrity of the line were still good.

Once a year, unless I run low before. Which usually happens by summertime on a few of my rods. I'm going on 2 years on some power pro on one of em though

Alot. I don't like braided line. Prefer mono. And every time I do, the first cast I make is "man I'm glad I did this".

I use cheap line, but replace it alot. Prolly every third time I trout/redfish

When it runs out.
Berkeley Big Game green 12 lb for almost everything.

Only weak if you get hung up and pull the boat to break it.

every 2 to 3 fishing trips for me. 14lb smooth casting trilene.

once you start backlashing, the line gets frayed and it'll get worse. doesn't cost that much to replace mono.

Sufix all the way. Usually once a year, or after I've popped my line the requisite 3 to 5 times on whatever fricken structure we're fishing
