Where'd you get him, if you don't mind me asking?

Pretty much in your shoes. Would be my first time actually training a dog. The two breeds I have been eyeing are GSPs and Boykins.
He just asked for one spot. I have my own spots as well. I don't like how guides tend to think they are a gift sent from God.

If you choose to do this as a profession, be prepared to deal with people doing this. I don't do it, however I don't have a problem if someone else wants to do it.

I see guides as teachers. I look at them from a different prospective. Sure they can give me a break, but if I don't know my way around, they can be useful in showing me how to navigate whatever body of water and where exactly there is activity.

Appreciate what they do, however they can be a pretentious bunch, and are entirely too territorial imo.

Hope that clarifies.
Screw the guides. It's the GOM. It's quite large if you haven't noticed. Maybe you will disagree, but one reason a person would hire a guide would be to learn the area.

If I can remember where you took me... well... tough tits brah. Get there before I do.

Enough fishing spots out there for everyone.
I'll give whatever you need for free. Send Email to RedDrumLand@gmail.com.
Can give you whatever you want and the top secret stuff like where pipelines are anchored to the sea floor... For a small fee.

Best friend use to do this constantly; thought it was fn hilarious. He'd be a sneaky prick about it and scare the beegeesus out of anyone riding with him.
I'd be down with a draft.

Could probably wrangle up another person.

CRZO.

How many acres? You'd be better off pooling your resources landowners.
No joke! Screw B.R. Gubment; Jindall gave 'em all off, what about Nola? If your headquarters is closed then you closed! End rant.

Kemps... What's wrong with you people?
That's what I've heard. Don't want to sign up for notifiers for each individual parish. I was wondering if there is any place on the vast interweb where one could acquire information on the state as a whole.
No shitte! Whole lot of nothing being said on the subject. No sweat though. I think I know the answer, just wanted to start a little discussion... Guess it was a failure :banghead:
Looking for some basic information on tax sales.
Is there a master listing for LA that the state emails, or do I have to sign up for notifiers with parish assessment offices?

Does each parish have their own tax sales, or is there an auction that will cover all parishes?

It definitely isn't free money, but right now it seems a bit early on. Though the numbers aren't the same the Marcellus and the Haynesville both fetch a pretty penny. I'd wait it out. A previous employer of mine required us to lease at 50$ an acre. It jumped to 1,000$ in less than 6 months.
3-5 yr 12.5% is standard, 15% if you're lucky... Gets fun after that. Can negotiate, but when I worked in the industry, I rarely saw leases with %s that high. Would have to be a pretty lucrative/proven area. All dependent on the competition.

If you aren't getting the muscles as an appetizer, you're doing it wrong!

Excellent food... Long wait.

re: How often do you change your line?

Sufix all the way. Usually once a year, or after I've popped my line the requisite 3 to 5 times on whatever fricken structure we're fishing :banghead:
