I'll never forget reading about that kick in a book from our school library. I'd check that book out over and over as a kid.

My dad always told the story of his dad and him going to that game and leaving before the game ended. He could hear the stadium going crazy on the walk home. I haven't left an LSU or Saints game early for as long as I can remember. That story is a big reason for that.

The thing that's so incredible about that kick is Dempsey takes like one small step or two and than toe bashes it 63 yards. Unreal.

i watched this game live........i couldnt believe he made it, i had the same reaction as the announcer had........great saints moment.
