He could have gone to Utah with Meyer as OL coach. I think he was prepared to go when he got the offer of OC and he chose to stay.

Stud went, then changed his mind. And according to Stud, Meyer was mad at him.

He did take him and a few weeks later Stud returned to Bowling Green when offered the OC job
