I feel bad for LSU fans having this great year and title game and the whole country will not tune in to watch it. The known nation outside the SEC considers 9-6 a boring snooze-fest. Plus no one wants to see SEC vs SEC outside the SEC.
I suppose you think the whole country tuned in to watch your Ducks last year. Just like every year, non-fans will tune in if they are avid college football fans...they're not stupid and know a good matchup when they see it. Others will only watch if there is a good party associated with it, or if there happens to be nothing else going on of better interest at the time. Last year I didn't watch the BCSNC because of other plans, as well as having no interest in either team.

If you posted this BS expecting LSU and Bama fans to feel less than ecstatic that their teams are playing for it all, well, like your Ducks, you've failed miserably at achieving your goal this year.

I believe I speak for all Tiger fans when I say, I didn't read this. All I had to do is look at the poster and know douchebaggery and complaining incessantly would encompass the entire post.

I dont totally agree with Bama being in the title match but I do think Bama is the 2nd best team in the country. I think the rest of the conferences need to quit bitching about how the SEC is corrupt and thats why they have won 5 will be 6 straight. If you want to stop it then quit losing in the regular season to schools you shouldn't lose to and then actually win the title. The SEC has the best players and the best teams so until you prove otherwise quit complaining. SEC! SEC! SEC!

The WHOLE country? I dunno. It'll be interesting to see what the viewing numbers are though, considering only one region is represented instead of two.

Hey, wait a second—you mean to tell me the entire country doesn't want to see LSU kick Nick Saban's arse? I don't believe it.

Your team had its chance stop crying. Les had absolutely no control over this failure. Many LSU fans wouldbmuchnprefer to play an easier team like Oregon its a much surer bet. Trust me we as a fan base would rather play a no defense okie state, hell if any one is getting hosed its LSU.

The question is: How would YOU feel about Stanford and Oregon playing for the championship?

AND ... Les Miles has to think about any ANY inflammatory words that might be bulletin board material.

Can't say, "I don't think Bama belongs"

Bottom line is: You're upset that the lesser conferences didn't get somebody in because you think everybody should have a "turn".

This is football, not Pop Warner flag football, where you still have to win to get in, if I'm correct.... or not lose to a team w/o a winning record and have a gripe.

Oregon and it's like don't belong on the same field as an LSU or Bama.

I'd love to get USC, but they cheated themselves out of consideration.

2011:
Tostitos Bowl Championship Series (BCS) National Championship on ESPN was watched by an average of 27,316,000 viewers (P2+) and 17,718,000 households
----------note:
That's down from last year's game on ABC which averaged 30.8 million, but up versus the 26.8 million for the Florida-Oklahoma game on Fox two years ago.

This year is ESPN so...27.3 is the mark to beat.

You are a dumbass. In the South, when it doesn't affect your team's spot in the game, the LAST THING a coach is going to do is say something that would remotely sound like he is hesitant to play another team from the South. If you or others have lost respect for CLM, we could give a shite. Quit losing games that matter and you may someday join the elite. I imagine being a bystander sucks.

I nor the SEC has any control over this, like it or not, winning trumps losing. The Known Nation just needs to spend less time on their exotic offenses and gimmicky play calling and more time learning to play defense.

You are so mistaken. Oregon didn't lose that game, they gifted those turnovers which we converted into points. Remember?

Ok, let's apply this to other sports if it hasn't already been done on another of these 26 pages that I'm not reading.

Hoops: We all need to gang up and whine about the dominance of the ACC (UNC,Duke). It's not fair that they get all the best basketball players.

LaCrosse: Seriously, there are about four teams, the same four, who have a chance to win this every year.

Volleyball: West coast teams historically dominate.

It's not our fault that the SEC has had the best football in the country going on a decade, just as none of the above are the schools mentioned's fault.

Your issue needs to be directed at ESPN. They got on the soap box for a re-match right after game on 11-5 and never relented.Blame the voters who if nothing else let someone else tell them who to vote for or better yet have a clue whats going on. Also Espn used Bama guys to tell you this without stating that they where Alumni of Bama. I personaly wanted someone else for many of the reasons you stated and when we give them a beatdown this time there will be more crying from everyone else saying we did not get out chance!

What do you want him to say? "We don't want any part of that team?" He's the head coach of the undisputed number 1 team. His job is to say that we will take on anyone, anywhere. He's never lobbied to get Alabama into the game.

I don't know why this is so hard to understand, but LSU, Bama, and the SEC do not get to decide who plays in the BCSCG.

The BCS formula does that using a number of different factors.

Tell you what, if the Ducks don't like they way that formula works, tell your school not to sign on to it.

Just don't come here whining like a school girl cause after the regular season is over you decide you don't like the results.

Pass that on the "whole Country" you feel entitled to represent.

I believe that comment actually came from Nick Saban who was coaching the LSU team at the time....not Les Miles
