Bored and have a what if question. If Georgia beats LSU but LSU only drops to number 2 and Bama is 1 do they allow 3 SEC teams in BCS bowls? I know only 2 are allowed but didn't know if there is some sort of clause for this example. If only 2 are allowed period who gets the shaft?

Yes they'd have three, LSU vs. Bama in the BCS Championship, UGA in the Sugar.

You can have 3 in the BCS as long as the top 2 arent conference champs.

LSU would be ineligible in this scenario because UGA would get the automatic bid and Alabama would get their automatic bid.

So you are saying the national championship would be 1 vs 3 ?

No he's wrong, if Bama is 1, LSU is 2, and UGA is the SEC champ. All three are going to a BCS bowl.

The BCS has one stipulation where 3 teams from the same conference can be in the BCS bowl games, if 1 and 2 are not conference champs.

If Georgia beats LSU, Georgia is in the Sugar Bowl, and LSU and Bama would be in the BCSNCG.

I am just honestly tired of the question being asked. Since early Novemeber I have been explaining this.

LINK

If UGA beats LSU, UGA goes to the Sugar Bowl automatically. The 1 and 2 BCS teams play. If Alabama and LSU are 1-2, well there you go, the SEC clears $17 million if UGA beats LSU.

You're wrong. #1 vs #2 trumps everything in the BCS.
