guys. If you, like me, have a great deal of respect for JL, stop talking like the poor kid is sobbing in his milk today cause he didn't get enough playing time yesterday.
I too think we could've played him earlier but, being honest with myself, I also know that Miles was thinking about the BCS and how he didn't to give voters any excuses should the SECCG go poorly.
In the final analysis though, the main reason I'm a big fan of Lee's is precisely because of the intestinal fortitude and mental toughness he showed by sticking it out at LSU(when many would've left) and then, not only sticking it out but performing his best when called upon rather than folding up.
Such a young man may well be disappointed he didn't play more yesterday but I think we can all be sure he is also the type of young man who loved the victory AND, who can still recognize his integral role in 12-0.
I think he's done enough in his years at LSU to prove that what I say above is true.
JJ did his thing and we need to be honest and say that he ended up playing a hell of a game. Hence, while we may argue that one series earlier would've been justified, it isn't as if Miles' decision was terrible and indefensible.
Geaux Tigers, Geaux Miles, Geaux JJ and Geaux JL.

yeah. JJ is this teams QB. Everyone needs to learn to live with it. Lee was very important but it is Jordans time now.

I wished a reporter would ask JL how exactly he feels about the situation and I wish he would give an honest answer.
Id just like to hear what he would say.

You are saying this now but you went full retard on the score board during the game. It was pretty annoying that people were making pre threads just for every time Jefferson had a bad play.

Exactly. Trying to cover his arse now.

Lee is too classy to say anything negative right now, but sometime after the season is over he may say how he really feels.

No you don't have to do that. But your threads were reactionary, drama queen and flat out proven wrong.

JL has shown himself to be a mature young man and a team player. If he were honest, he would probably say he was disappointed and wanted to be this team's first string quarterback, but because of the kind of kid he is, he would say they need to do whatever is best for the team to take home a win. The life lessons he has learned and the leadership he has shown in his handling of the quarterback discussion this year could benefit us all.

FIFY. CLM's no dummy.

I'll bet I wouldn't come up empty.

I'm sure you are taking this season pretty hard considering all your les miles negativity was all shot to shite with the greatest season so far in team history.
Not surprising that you have found something to hang your hat on and bitch about when it comes to the quarterbacks.

I really don't get it. I was definitely for Lee starting earlier in the season, but why is everyone up his arse. Jefferson has proven to be the best guy over the last month.
Sir Calves is actually playing for the Detroit Lions and didn't start for LSU.
The way some are acting you would think Lee would be an early round NFL draft pick. This isn't the first time a player has gotten beat out for a starting position. All kinds of great players sitting on our bench.
Look at our RBs:
Ware
Ford
Blue
Hilliard
Magee
All those RBs are having to split carries and plays. They could all have much bigger roles on other teams.
So people need to STFU. Lee has not been mistreated. Everyone can't start/play regardless how much their parents bitch.

You are reaching. Yesterday was ridiculous. You should own up and move on.
I enjoy reading your posts on the poli board. I'm not a hater of you by any means. I just thought that it was a little much yesterday.

Miles is worthy of criticism. Do you want to revisit Ole Miss 2009? Seriously? Are you that stupid? You are a flat out JJ fanboi. I feel sorry for you because of the emptiness you will feel next year without JJ on your tube.

only problem I have this is, its easy to do when you are getting all the snaps.
If JL were playing and starting the past 3 games and getting the reps JJ has,.. Id expect him to have similar numbers.... NOT BETTER, NOT WORSE>>>>>>SIMILAR.
Why wouldnt he? He did it all year?
FWIW I thought SW was getting the JL treatment until he popped back in the game in the 4th qrter.. .several people sitting around me said same thing.

Fanboi? No.
Do I think he is the better qb? Yes.
Will I lose sleep when he leaves? No because we have an even better qb sitting third string right now waiting to take over.

You say this like Lee is the only 'young man' in an LSU uniform.
Lee in his entire career, has been collectively booed ONE time at LSU, in 2008. Everytime JJ took the field in Tiger Stadium this year, somehow, someway, he was being booed. I am sick of some of this fan base and their fickle attitude about who is entitled to WHAT.
I'll tell you why Lee does'nt say anything to anyone: he believes in his team mates, the coach, and the direction of this team. I can tell you Lee does'nt give a frick about what the fans think about him. And he probably feels bad for JJ because he gets booed everytime he takes the field now. You know why? because he has been thorugh it with all of you.
Lee doesnt need love from any of you. And I would'nt be surprised when he does speak, he talks about just how much you can all frick off about him and JJ, because some of y'all have been to him in the past, and now JJ, the worst fans ever.
