No way OSUck beats OU. Their D is horrible. Ole' Miss type of horrible.

Have you watched OU this year? They're terrible defensively as well.

Assuming we beat Georgia (13), these are the teams that will have had their shot at LSU and failed:

Alabama (2)
Arkansas (3)
Oreogn (3)
West Virginia (16)
Florida (17)
Auburn (19)
Mississippi State (25)

These are the teams that will not have had a shot at us:

Virginia Tech (4)
Stanford (5)
Oklahoma State (6)
Houston (7)

The BCS was not designed to necessarily match up the two best teams. It was designed to match up the two most deserving teams. The Gumps had their shot and lost - at home. They do not deserve another chance.

If the tables were turned, and Bama had beaten us by 3, everybody on the rant would be screaming for a rematch.

Were Bama fans demanding Florida get a rematch in 2009?

In OT and IMO that kick could have been called good and this conversation is null.

If that game was played in Stillwater, that kick is called "good" by the officials.

Better yet, was Florida demanding a rematch in 2009?

Florida squashed #3 Cincinnati in the Sugar Bowl after losing the SECCG. Bama played a insipid Texas team.

Bama beat Florida 32-13 and Texas was undefeated. Not the same scenario.

shite, I've been wanting Bama since that game ended because I felt we left alot on he field. I have never heard this argument, Bama and Florida were easily the 2 best teams in the country that year so I guess that my blows my premise out of the water. Nobody demanded that game be played again...I don't know guys I still want Bama in NOLA though just to put the assholes to rest, but you make a really good point.

Sorry, I forgot about Texas because they were such a huge disapointment. Thanks, it's been a long day.

Virginia Tech is in a good position to make it to the BCSNC game. They are ranked number 5 now. If they win tomorrow, they will have the benefit of playing in the ACC championship game. If they win that, they very well may steal some votes.

I want to play Bama just to shut them up, but if we don't oh well. I won't shed a damn tear for them either.

Yes I have.

OU has only allowed in the 20s (or above) 4 times while OSUck has allowed that feat to happen 9 times.

and

OU is 36th scoring D while OSUck is 67th.

I'm thinking the only OU games you saw were against Baylor and TT.

OSU needs a LOT more help than that. They are 4th now with the Harris and USA Today coaches polls ranking them 6th. Just because they move to 3 the polls are going to vote them 2?

VA Tech IMO won't lose again. If Stanford wins tomorrow, they won't lose again(season is done).

All Alabama has to do is win. OSU has to have a lot more. The belief they're the stronger candidate is reaching at best.

human voters will bandwagon on the team that will have the best computer ranking (which will be Oklahoma St)... Voters don't want a rematch.... Virginia Tech is really weak in the computer polls

I'd rather Bama, but I think it's going end up being Okie State.

Beating Bama twice in one season would glorious.

Va Tech will get votes too.

IMO Va Tech would do better than Okie lite.

Va Tech has a defense and special teams.
