Movie characters who linger in your mind long after having seen the movie

For me I would say Ledger's Joker, Daniel Day Lewis's Daniel Plainview, and Edgar Ramirez as Carlos are three that I find myself thinking about a lot.

For me it's always really small parts that people just completely hit on all cylinders
Tony Shaloub as Ben Geisler in Barton Fink is pretty much unforgettable to me. He's in like 10 minutes of the film. Then again, EVERYONE from that movie is awesome.
He owned that role completely.
