It really isn't all that surprising. Arkansas hasn't won a road game by more than 5 points, and managed only 14 points against the only other really great defense they have played this year. Their defense gives up just over 21 points per game, while LSU gives up under 11. The offenses' scoring differential is about 2 points per game.
Now it won't surprise me if the game is closer than 12 points, but you can certainly see why LSU is favored by at least 12 points at home.

After Arkansas knocked LSU out of a BCS bowl last year, LSU should be ready for this one. I'll give Arkansas the benefit of the doubt and say they can hang around for a half against LSU, but the 2nd half is where we'll see the depth of LSU really come into play and wear down that Arkansas defense.

I'm betting it as soon as it goes up on 5dimes. Ole Miss started at 28 1/2 and I ended up laying 32 on Saturday. Not that it mattered but I just don't like giving more points than I have to.

arkansas could easily be 7-4 right now instead of 10-1 .. ole miss almost beat them in oxford and vandy missed a chip shot FG that would have sent that game into OT ... they have been feasting on teams of late at home too ... they're a little bit on the smoke and mirrors side, IMO .. the only top shelf team they played so far this season curb stomped them 38-14 .. this game doesn't worry me at all either ..
