Your opinion sucks. That's a FACT.

you dont know that.....just like i dont know that if JJ plays the whole BCSNT game we lose...

see I can do it too...

Ummm, considering Jordan Jefferson was 6/10 for 67 yards and had 11 rushes for 43 yards (21 total touches for 110 yards) compared to Jarrett Lee's 3/7 for 24 yards and 2 INT's, I can safely say LSU would have lost with Lee playing the full game against Alabama.

Stats are your friend. Use them next time if you are attempting to make a compelling argument.

He isn't going to be a pocket passing QB in the NFL, his mechanics would still need an overhaul.

Tebow went in the 1st and Jefferson is better than him in all the measurables. I think Jefferson is less of a project than him. Clearly, nowhere near the college player though, by any means. And like that other dude said, the NFL is littered with horrible QBs holding clipboards, a team taking a flyer on JJ in one of the mid rounds is not absurd.

I dunno about that. Tebow's numbers were pretty elite/freakish.

I doubt Denver would make that move again.

JJ hasn't been close to what Tebow was in college.

Keep the faith, but I think you are stretching here. He has poor mechanics and isn't going to be a QB at the next level. His ability to read defenses could use some work and most of his passes are still fairly low risk. Blame it on the inept QB coach he had for 3 years.

Please reply roger the shrubber

If we have not been challanged who in your opinion is the 'ultimate defensive challange' for LSU?

Please comply.

I'm just talking about height, speed, and arm strength. I'm not sure bench reps and vertical and such really translate for a QB.

Miles arse raped J. Lee among the tiger faithful the way he handled the rotation last night.

Shame on you Les Miles.

The issue on Lee and Miles' "handling" of him is the same as was for JJ:
Is it honorable / ethical?
Is it in the best interest of the TEAM?

Of course not. Not on the same planet.

It won't bother if he doesn't get drafted at all. Objectively though, he is the kind of guy that does.

His mechanics can be fixed. But even if they can't, teams will think they can. But I completely disagree about him not being a QB at the next level. He might not be a starter, but if he's going to play in the NFL, it's going to be QB.

Exactly why a team will take a chance on him. He's only 21 and they'll have plenty of time work with him. Again, I'm not saying he's going 1st round, but 4th or so wouldn't surprise me. I would be very surprised if he's not drafted at all, though.

Not sure. My guess is it relates to the opposing offense scoring, and the ability to score points when you have to. It's something we really haven't seen much of this year from the offense.

Last years offense, though pretty poor for most of the year answered challenges in several games late and in essence was the reason for the win. It hasn't been a necessity this year.

Eh, it would be a reach but wouldn't shock me. If so, I would guess it would be in the late rounds. I think he would be years from developing into a solid NFL type QB

I think that's more a reflection of Josh McDaniels rather than Tim Tebow. Tebow may be starting to justify the risk, but it was an awfully crazy risk. He probably should have been drafted somewhere between late second round and fourth, even with the illustrious college career.

Probably, but he certainly woulnd't have lasted past the 2nd. Again, I'm not saying JJ will go anywhere near the 1st round, but I don't think his weaknesses will scare off teams as bad as some might think. And his positives will be attractive. Somebody will take a chance on him.
