Depends on how BCS looks after

LSU will go....the BCS rankings will be:

1. Alabama
2. LSU
3. Arkansas

-however, LSU will likely be 2 in both human polls, but the commanding computer lead will easily put LSU at 2.

We still go. Ark. won't jump us or bama but bama goes to 1 and we go to 2 and then go to sec title based on head to head tie breaker over Bama.

#3 wins @ #1, both teams finishing with 1 loss, and #3 stays @ #3?

Would this not be a hoot if we all finish 1-2-3. The BCS would completely implode, as ESPN and the like would try to explain....well, whatever they could. I have no idea what happens if we somehow win this Friday, apparently Alabama goes to the SECCG and we could wind up in the BCSCG. I don't know. It's too confusing.

Bottom line, LSU is the best team in the nation. Your defense is the best I've seen since, idk, USC in the early 2000's? NFL good. If we can protect Wilson then you may have to outscore us. All I know is, it sure feels good to be sitting at the big boy's table for a change. God bless Bobby Petrino.

And don't scoff at that. You guys remember what it was like when Saban came in and started something special. These kids know what mistakes against a #1 team can do....see the Arkansas/Alabama game.

Here's to a great game and more LSU turnovers than the Hogs. :)

There is a very small part of me that wants Arkansas to win, just so I can see the meltdown when their fans come to the realization that LSU is going to the SECCG and BCSNC while they head to the Cap One or Cotton

If we lose to Arky, we're done IMO.

We'd need Auburn or UGA to beat Bama or we're bowling in Orlando

I think You're dreaming. If Arky beats us, our best shot woud be for a Georgia win in the SECCG. against Bama most likely. At that point we'd probably sneak back in to the NC game

i understand their emotional reaction to this situation but how many times can people point out simple math with a little logic and they still not grasp it.

Just focus on winning and don't worry about what ifs. I feel like some of yall are conceding a loss already, just like you were before the Bama game.

w/ all due respect, I see:
1. bama
2 Arky
3. LSU

... if we lose Friday, hope I'm wrong. Dont see how Arky doesn't jump us if they win.

I have the same feeling at some level

but the larger part of me will just be happier to see LSU win on the field

Does anybody actually know what the tie-breaker is? Do they make this sh!t up as they go along? Three teams from one conference can't go BCS bowling. That's gonna leave one of the top five teams (regardless who wins) out of the mix. What kind of bullsh!t is that?
