BCS ticket "futures" for Bama are $545. LSU is $367.

Apparently the free market thinks Bama has a better chance of making it than us?

well they have a much easier path there. if we beat arkansas, but lose to UGA in the SECCG, BAMA goes to the championship. all they have to do is beat Auburn.

they should be happy they lost to us

Well it seems as though losing to us has actually helped Alabama. Go figure.

if that scenario plays out, all of college football will be happy (except LSU) because it proves what we all know: the BCS is the wrong system, we need a playoff.

We have a Top 5 and Top 10 opponent.

Al just has AU left.

Top wins this year for AL - ARK and Pervert State

It's pathetic to think that the only undefeated major conference team in the country has to "earn" the right to play Bama again. Such bullshite.

I aggree with everything said.

BUT, it should be noted, Bama futures were that high before the LSU game.

I'm not really surprised by the economics of this at all. They benefited most from the Ok St. loss, combined with their easy remainder of the year, and of course demand for the tickets on their side would skyrocket in comparison to our remaining schedule that may consist of a top five and top ten team.

Bama gets to back there way into the title game without having really beating anyone, especially if we stomp Arkansas

Awesome for them

LSU can probably lose a game and still make it. bama needs to win out and hope a lot of things go there way.

Not sure how Bama has the easier path.

Might wanna look into OU's tickets. I am telling you they are going to be in the NC game. Hardly no one wants to see LSU/Gumps play again except gumps.

Agreed. OSU's tickets may be dirt cheap right about now and I think they have a better shot than people think.

They aren't done. They still will have a stellar computer ranking and a win over OU would put them back in the discussion. In reality, OU has nothing going for it over OSU except they lost a few weeks earlier

Gumps need to focus on beating Georgia Southern first

You are assuming OSU beats OU. Here is my thought process:

* LSU wins out

* I think OU beats OSU and thus is the Big 12 (or whatever they are) champs

* I don't think Harris voters or the Coaches wanna see LSU play either Oregon or the Gumps

* OU is in New Orleans
