Title game matches BCS #1 vs BCS #2.

No other factors matter.

For a non-conference champ to finish #1 or #2, it has to be a VERY impressive team, because the human voters control 2/3 of the BCS formula.

If #2 happens to be in the same conference as #1, does anyone really believe that team should be passed over, and #3 should play for the championship?

The amazing thing this year is, if Okie State gets beat and Arkie beats us in a close one, it is possible (though certainly highly unlikely) that the SEC West could be home to #1, #2 and #3 in the final BCS ranking.

We HAVE to beat Arkie, and I think Miles and his Tigers will be ready to rumble and will smoke those piggies like a cochon de lait.

I think that it is unfair for LSU to have to go 2-0 vs. Oregon or Alabama to be champs but Alabama and Oregon have to only go 1-1 vs. LSU. So I say no rematch unless the perfect storm happens. Also, I believe you have to win the conference championship to even be eligible.
