Well...I'm ready to form the search committee for LSU's next basketball head coach. Trent just hasn't been able to build a competitive program! Last night's loss is likely a window into another dismal season. So start the list of your Top 5 choices (only 3 serious!) to become the next coach!
1. ?
2. ?
3. ?
4. Chris Paul...pending NBA contract talks?
5. Dale Brown, remainder of 2011 season?

Would Gary Williams be willing to come out of retirement?

He'd no longer be under Coach K and Roy Williams' shadows.

Dale Brown could have dementia and be 90 years old and it would still be light years ahead of any knowledge that Trent Johnson has. That is a fact !! Alleva and the powers that be are happy we have Trent. The ship's not sinking according to Alleva. LSU can kiss my f**king arse as far as expecting me to go to the PMAC again this year and watch a putrid product on the floor. Spend some damn money and spend some time searching for a competent coach who can speak correctly and has a fire lit in his belly. I have seen enough to know that LSU just wants to get by when it comes to basketball. screw that.

With the breakup of the Big East I think someone like Pitino might listen or maybe a Jay Wright of Nova unless he wants NBA

I would make someone like that turn me down first.

Adam...no my friend. You are not correct. I wanted TJ to succeed. I thought we hit the goldmine when LSU almost beat NC in the big dance. I was amazed how easy that season was. I was elated. I STILL WANT TJ to suceed. I want to be wrong about him as a coach. I swear to God I want him to be our coach for a long time. But he hasn't earned it. Once the talent is gone to the NBA, he stuggles and has been the past three years. I have to tell the truth. The man is not deserving of being a top notch SEC coach apparently. If there is no improvement in SEC play this year, then he has to go. I am truly sorry. I am glad we hired a minority coach at LSU. I hope another Minority coach gets the position if trent gets canned. TJ deserves a D- at this juncture. Time is running out. Please TRent, turn this train around. please !!
