If you get in the stand before sunrise

How long do you generally hunt for?
This past Saturday morning my phone died right around 9:00 am. Did not see the first sign of a white tail so, I got out of the stand and started walking back to the camp. I started thinking, if my pawpaw only knew I was headed back to camp because my phone died, I would never hear the end of it.

You didn't see any deer. You were playing on your phone and had nothing to do, so you got down out of the stand?
Leaving at 9:00 or 10:00 is not the big of a deal.. but playing with your phone while you're in the stand?

Depends on what's going on. Generally 10:30 but if they are moving I'm staying put.

I generally get out at 9:30 ro so. My dad is always pissed if I don't stay until at least 11. fricking old people...

it just depends on the day for me, if there is 0 activity in the woods, ill get out of there early. Just kinda depends, shite the other day i got in there before sunrise, left at 9 to go have some breakfast and was back in the stand at 10:30 and stayed til dark.

I would have done the same. If I have nothing to do and I'm not seeing any movement, I'm not staying long

I've seen it. Just not really read it.
I thought it was just a shout out, and then maybe updates as to if anyone got lucky or not. I didn't know it was a full on PM thread for the duration.

9:00 is an average of when I leave. Sometimes as early as 8:30, sometimes I'll stay til around 10:00.

hahaha. NO.
But I did just get my first Android for father's day this year. I had a Blackberry for work, but it was locked down and you couldn't do more than email.
Even so. I typically keep my phone OFF, when hunting, and just turn it on when I need to call someone.

one of my kills last year, my uncle told me how a doe or something came out at like 9:20 or so. It was like 9:15, was bout to get down, i said i'm going to wait to 9:20. I kid you not, i'm grabbing my bag and look up and bam... down goes doe.
