Been thinking about JJ starting over JL

What if after securing a berth in the BCSNC game Les and the boys want to try to implement a speed of play similar to what Oregon does when on offense? To do this both quarterbacks would have to be able to run either type of offensive style. It seems that JJ and JL ran the offense that is more suited to the other's style of play. If we implemented the hurry-up "O" we could run a quarterback in and out according to our whim and take advantage of the defensive personnel we face. Perhaps even including running a "new" quarterback on after every play. Total mass confusion for a defense...easy scores for us.

I kind of like this idea but doubt this is where clm is going with his play of the QB's.

We woud have nearly a month to master the scheme. Would be unstoppable if we executed it porperly. Just a thought. Geaux Tigers and damn...what a year to be a fan!

Our offense looks just as confused whenever Jefferson is in the game.

Clue number 1: Stop trying to think.

There is some creditability here, Lee was runing the option and JJ was throwing down field, just imagine if both QBs got proficient at each others strengths, we would be unstoppable at our last few games, DCs would hang themselves.

Theo... that's the dumbest thing I ever heard in my life!

Why would CLM deviate from what's working? If LSU goes undefeated, there's absolutely no reason to change what's worked.
Good God.
Good God.

Yet LSU is 10-0. Maybe, just maybe now, the confusion is a reslut of the fact that you aren't very bright?
You gotta admit that as a possibility.

JJ can run and throw. we should just leave him in the game

Maybe JL got hurt vs. Alabama. You know Miles does not like to disclose information like that. Why don't y'all shut up and let him coach?

Supposedly JL skipped classes and CLM suspended him for half a game.

Do you know what a football looks like?

I don't listen to baseless rumors. Miles is planning something and wants to keep opposing teams guessing.

IMHO, there has been far too much made of the QB situation since day one. I believe Miles is a far better coach than many give him credit for and I trust his judgement on who to use and when as well as how to extract best opportunity to win using the best combination of talent he has available.

I believe he is working the media too. Let the media talk about how the Tigers are faltering and not looking on top of their game. Perfect!

This just invites trouble and results in the type of confusion rarely seen... except when we play Tennessee or Ole Miss.
The only thing keeping from saying this is completely retarded and saying that it's only mildly retarded is that we already practiced doing this.
It's how we got the defense ready for Oregon's speed, remember? Lee would take one offensive squad to the line while Jefferson was off on the side getting the play called for his squad, then as soon as the play was over, Jefferson and company would come to the line and Lee's squad would run off and prepare for his next shift.
In a gametime situation, though, this is not a good idea. Also, I'm not so convinced there's not some obscure substitution rule that would make this scheme illegal.

The key to the hurry up is no substitutions and quickly getting set so the defense cannot sub either.
Subbing a quarterback in and out means the defense also gets the right to substitute players.
So you've essentially removed your ability to run "hurry up" by subbing a player.
But you knew that already and this thread is one big troll job..........right......?
