Something that hasn't been said. Shout out to WKU

Taggerd and compamy came in with a very good gameplan. WKU is a run first team, and Bobby Rainey would get significant carries at any SEC school not named LSU or Bama. All year WKU has been a run heavy team that passes when they have to. Knowing they couldn't run on LSU in early down situations, they threw the PA early to loosen up our defense. It caught our D off guard and they did a grear job adjusting. That WKU team is a decent, well coached team. They came in looking for the upset, but didnt have the horses to do so. Rainey will get a shot at some NFL camps as well as their MLB(name escapes me).

Rainey ran for about 6 more yards than I expected. I was thinking about 79 and < 3 ypc.
He got 85 on 28 carries for just over 3 ypc.
He exceeded my expectations.... barely.

WKU was badass in that first half. They had a shite ton of swag. I was loving them talking shite to our players. Lot of respect for that small time school, they werent scared and came at us.

Their TE also had a monster first half. I liked how they came right out and attacked. They didn't just go into the fetal position to take a whipping -- they played their asses off. It worked for a half.
Good on them. That was an honorable defeat. And the grass eating thing was awesome.

Agreed, they exposed one of LSU's few defensive weaknesses, our LBs in coverage. That running back made some great cuts, could def play in the SEC

Stuff like this is why I don't like going to LSU games. The people in the stadium are just so obnoxious sometimes. You can avoid most of the dumb stuff by just watching it on tv

The coach was cool as hell. Seemed super chill and just enjoying the fact that his team was in Death Valley competing against the #1 team in the land. May be a good pick up for someone like Ole Miss or Kansas.
