Let's get one thing straight about Les.

Ok, let me just say that I think Les is a really good coach. I really do. But, just because he is a good coach doesn't mean that he is infallible and can't make a mistake. It's so annoying how anytime someone disagrees with Les they are bombarded with posters calling them negaters and rantards and saying "GTFO we are 10-0." Just because we win games doesn't mean we are perfect. If someone expresses concern after a loss it means that they are worried about the future. So stop acting like anyone who thinks LSU should do some things differently is an idiot. It is amazing to me how many people seem to be completely overlooking Arkansas, a team that beat us last year and is much better this year. This season is far from over my friends. By no means should we be relaxed and think that we are fine just because we beat Bama. We beat Bama last year too.

No coach is infallible or above criticism.
The problem ON THIS BOARD is that about 80% of the criticism or questioning is . . . I can't think of a better way to describe it . . . really dumb or based on emotional bias that has nothing to do with performance on the field.

except i'm pretty sure his football philosophy is better than any poster's here. he has one more ring and 72 more wins than all of us put together, unless there are a few ncaa head coaches posting here...

First, who's overlooking Arkansas?
On the Les issue, I've always been a fan and a defender of him on this board...even when it wasn't popular to be a Les supporter.
NO, I don't think the man is infallible, he's human like any other coach. I do find it humorous that people on this board think they know more than Les at times concerning what is best for this team.
Just read this board with all the JL / JJ debate, you would think we're 4-6 or something!
We're a unanimous #1, 10-0 and control our own destiny....and people are bitching about who the COACH is playing at QB and why.
WHO THE HELL CARES....
I'm thinking Les has better information and more football knowledge to make that decision than the assclowns on this board...if that makes me a homer, Oh well!

You are correct in that every coach makes mistakes.
But what some of you fail to realize is that Miles makes decisions on what he believes to be best for the team/program, and he makes those decisions with infinitely more information about the team/players and knowledge of the game than you will ever have.
So instead of people throwing temper tantrums like a 3 year old kid when he makes a decision they don't agree with, it would probably be more productive to have a rational discussion about why he made the decision.
But what some of you fail to realize is that Miles makes decisions on what he believes to be best for the team/program, and he makes those decisions with infinitely more information about the team/players and knowledge of the game than you will ever have.

Ar Kansas is coming for us and have beaten us 3 of the last 4 years, including that 2 loss BCSNC year.
A loss to Ark = no BCS but Cap One.
