Saying pig shite is as worthless as Guilbeau completely discounts the fact that pig shite actually makes good fertilizer.

We poor North LA Gannett readers have been putting up with GG for too many years, I just wish that he would write down what he sees and leave his opinion out of the column. We all know that he loved Saban and he is still showing it.

Wanna send a message? He sits at the press table for almost every LSU basketball game. Chant, scream, hold up signs, pee on him, but do it to his face. Bitching on here every single day does nothing.

I think the message is: of all the articles flying round the net regarding LSU, why are we slapped in the face with Guilblows excrement here so frequently?

Oh, I get it. Slow today...my bad...

Guilblow is to TD what Lou Holtz is to ESPN

I would if LSU played in Madison Square Garden.

If it persuades Chicken and Circus Child to stop giving him clickthroughs, it will have accomplished something.

scott, williams, murphy, holliday, byrd, lafel, tolliver, dickson, alem, woods, nevis, and RP would probably disagree with that.

As I posted earlier

Leave it to GG to mis report the facts to try and bang Les

quote:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Then down 3-0 while on the Alabama 2 with time running out in the first half, Miles almost let the clock run out. But just before Flavor Flav had to be summoned for another neck clock delivery, quarterback Jordan Jefferson called timeout with one second to play. Drew Alleman came on to tie the game 3-3 on a 19-yard field goal.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Les told the ref he wanted time out before the play was run, frick GG

Agreed I think it is total horseshite that the admins put that crap up. It seems the management of this site has been suspect lately in my opinion. Im probably banned now.

Would you guys PLEASE stop giving this clown coverage?

At the very least, a warning in the title would help. I had to stop clicking the links on the home page because so many of them are his and I don't want to give that bastard even one more web site hit.

The point was not to denigrate what Saban did, but it wasn't yet a national championship program with only one season out of 5 with less than 3 losses.
And my point was that Auburn was a bad comparison to use.

Of course Les was all over it. Anyone watching the game knew that, because Verne and Gary showed it clearly. Guilbeau either wasn't watching or is being blatantly dishonest, either of which should disqualify him from being allowed near a word processor.
TD Lords, please, please stop giving this guy space on your otherwise world-class website.

I think the absence of links to Guilbeau's articles will affect the profitablilty of TD.com.

Miles won in his 3rd year at LSU, Saban won in his 3rd year at Bama. In my book, that's a wash.

Saban turning LSU around was a much bigger accomplishment than his turning Bama around, and it's also a bigger accomplishment than what Miles has done with LSU. That's not a knock on Miles. It's not his fault he inherited a program that was already going in the right direction.
He's had ups and downs here at LSU, but at this point he looks like the man for the job, to put it lightly. This team is fantastic, and he built THIS team of players all on his own. You can say that without making the mistake of saying he built the program on his own.

Say what you want about inheriting a program and winning with it. There's a pretty good coach out there who took a recent title winning program after someone else built it up a bit and then made it even stronger than ever, and people don't say this trash about him. Hell, he even posted an 8-5 season in there, just like our buddy Miles here.

Maybe. Not sure I agree, but it's worthy of debate.

Again, debatable. Keeping a program on top, or suffering through the relative down years ('08 and '09, which wouldn't be considered "down" for most programs, but whatever) and bringing it back to the top is not all that easy--especially when most of your fan base is still hot for your predecessor.

In any event, my comment on the article that prompted my original post was that the clown Guilbeau is being unjustifiably snide toward Miles , not to mention just wrong on the facts, when he refers to the 2011 season as Miles being "on the verge of cashing in" on what Saban built.
