Do you prefer College or Pro?

What about your feelings on Holtz's opinion on changing the college OT rules for each team to start on the 40?

I prefer college OT rules. Wouldn't mind seeing the starting position being pushed back some. Make the offenses earn some yards first.

Holtz is a BIG PUSS! What does he know? Seems to be working fine in College Footbal the way it is....leave it alone!

College.....

I wish there were something like an exhibition season where Lou's concept could be tested...

I love the OT college rules. Pro is dumb. Coin toss winner has an extreme advantage in that the other team may not even get to touch the ball. I do think it would be smart in college overtime to move the starting point out of field goal range...or start at the 25 and gradually move the starting point back 10 yards per OT?

Pro's...I hate colleges OT.

It takes the kick off and punting game out of the game. You are already in field goal range before you get a first down.

College OT sucks

College. The outcome of the game shouldn't depend on who wins a coin toss.

I'd pick college, but I don't think either is great. I pick college because it gives both teams a chance. I hate the sudden death in the NFL. If the NFL made a rule giving the team starting on defense at least one possession, then I'd pick the NFL. I don't like how college eliminates a lot of the game from its OT.

College but I also think it needs to be moved back just a bit. 5, 10, or 15 yards. Probably 10 would be good.

If kicking field goals is so easy, then the same applies now that would apply if you move the ball back.

If everyone can get a field goal, then you are still playing under the current system, and playing for a TD.

If you have a horrible kicker you are just screwed.

Move the ball back 15 yards and the game might last for 8 hours.

OT is meant to end the game. We had ties for a long time

I like the college rules over the pro rules, but would like to see them move it to the 35 or so, so you don't start in FG range.

College but start at midfield. Make them earn the chance to kick a fg.
