It's not just Missouri. Look through rosters. Texas high school talent is stocking the entire Big 12. High school football is crazy here.

I think they need to start implementing football camps and programs across the state. I know Pinkel has attempted to do this, but they need a lot of help with recruiting.
If they could increase interest in the state, they would become a monster. Very similar to LSU, they are the ONLY in state program around. Plus, they ave a bigger population than LA.
Obviously this should start in areas like St. Louis and KC, but it should be spread across the state.
I've lived in MO and I know firsthand that MU football support is non existent (compared to SEC state schools) in parts of the state. And by non existent, I mean that you'll probably not even hear much about the conference change in that state. People won't really even be talking about it. They will, however, be talking about the Cards championship and the Chiefs game today.
