Hello everyone. I'm an LSU alum and this season has been pretty amazing so far. Regardless of what happens tomorrow, I'm truly proud of the way the team has played. As long as they leave it all out on the field in T-town, it's all we can really ask for.

That said, all of this Miles vs Saban coaching style chatter reminded me of a nickname our friends used to call Saban... Hisler from the 'Johnny Be Good' film. The character of Wayne Hisler personifies Saban's approach (success at the expense of happiness). Anyway I found a clip, and I figured if anybody would "get it" y'all would. Plus, the pregame speech is 100% genius.

This thread, it blows. But you're only on post 2, so you can make up ground.

As for CNS nicknames, I've always been fond of "bitter midget" myself...

Saban is a great coach who loves the game and who enjoys mentoring young players and winning, much like your hero God Les Miles. He just does it in a different way. He has made mistakes just like all coaches have. All of this demonizing of Nick Saban while bordering on psychotic, is quite juvenile.
