I played linebacker in high school against Faulk, Nixon and scrimmaged against Dunn. Dunn was very good but Nixon was better (at least in high school). Nixon had a ton of yards that year and was a monster at Jennings, but he was their whole team. Faulk though was a different story. He played with Ernest Lazzar (sp?) who was a giant. Faulk played quarterback and they ran an early version of the read option. Faulk could not be stopped. At a point in the game he made a long TD run past me like I was standing still. It was the only time in my life I was in awe as a football player.
Does anybody think Neal ends up at LB?
I love this quote...

SI: Are you over losing to Alabama in the BCS title game?

LM: All losses hurt. I'm still hurt over losing to Kentucky in '07.

Seems like "Emergency Room" or "Emergency" or something to that effect could be a good nickname for him. ER implies that I guess. He just seems to hit with cruel intentions.

Saban nickname

Hello everyone. I'm an LSU alum and this season has been pretty amazing so far. Regardless of what happens tomorrow, I'm truly proud of the way the team has played. As long as they leave it all out on the field in T-town, it's all we can really ask for.

That said, all of this Miles vs Saban coaching style chatter reminded me of a nickname our friends used to call Saban... Hisler from the 'Johnny Be Good' film. The character of Wayne Hisler personifies Saban's approach (success at the expense of happiness). Anyway I found a clip, and I figured if anybody would "get it" y'all would. Plus, the pregame speech is 100% genius.
