I don't understand all this Oklahoma state

hype. Please tell me why the computer polls put them at #1 instead of lsu/bama. I look at their schedule and it just bothers me seeing their opponents score on them so many times and they only played one ranked team which was Texas a&m. I just don't understand lsu has beaten opponents on the road and has played 5 ranked opponents which has averaged like 20 points over opponents. Please can someone prove to me why the computer polls rank them as #1?

The bottom half of their schedule is better than the bottom half for LSU and Alabama. However, LSU will get a big boost after they play Alabama and Arkansas, especially if Oregon keeps winning.

the computers think big 12 is the best conference because they were 24-4 in OOC games this year

The computers only job is to try and measure strength of schedule to separate the teams if its close. The humans are for SEC fawning based on past precedent.

Who cares? If they're all hype, then they will be exposed and lose to OU or someone else.
If not, then they'll be in the BCS Championship Game against either LSU or Bama, and they'll either prove themselves or not.

To be fair, they haven't looked like the most dominant team in football.
