Well maybe the refs are more lenient when there is no taunting involved.

It's not like what he is doing is poor sportsmanship which I think is what the intent of the rule is.

It's a stupid rule that every official outside of the damn SEC realizes shouldn't be called.

i agree...i just think intent shouldn't be considered...it should be enforced the way the rule is written.

like the illegal hits that are being called...the defensive players can't control what the offensive players do..I'm sure the majority of them aren't intending to go helmet to helmet or make a dirty hit. The rule is meant to deter players that intend to hurt another player from actually doing it.
