How would you compare Alabama and LSU by position:

Offensive Line - Alabama
Wide Receivers - LSU
Running Backs - Alabama
Tight Ends - Even
Quarterbacks - LSU
Defensive Line - LSU
Linebackers - Alabama
Defensive Backs - Alabama
Special Teams - LSU
Coaching - Even
Home Field - Alabama
Intangibles - Even

What does all of this mean? Both teams very equal. The team that makes the fewest misktaes wins the game.

We have better DB's....maybe not as experienced as a whole with Mathieu and Simon, but more talented IMO.

I agree with all except for Intangibles: LSU is plus 15 on take aways, I think Bama is plus 3?

The only issue I have is with Bama's DB's being better than LSU's. I think you may want to reconsider that position or the Honey Badger will just show you Nov. 5

I think running backs are equal (but Bama clearly has the best back). I also think defensive backfield is actually LSU, not Bama. But, still very even. It is who wants it more.

Penalties (or lack thereof), punting and turnover margin are what puts it over the top for LSU IMO....

Special teams. Lsu>>>>bama. This will be the greatest factor in this game. Field position will be huge.

I'm telling you guys Brad Wing will own this game. LSU is so much better in the kicking game it's not even funny. Even Bama fans know this. It's just not common to discuss the kicking game.

I'll buy everything on there, except defensive backs should be even.

If Simon could CATCH THE DAMN BALL I would give the edge to LSU. Bama has a quality D-backfield too.
